I’m an active, caring, intelligent, and honest 79 yr old widower who believes life should be an adventure. Born in the northwest but raised on the San Francisco peninsula, I’ve lived in Menlo Park for the past 50+ years. I am retired and have two adult sons who live in the area and a granddaughter. I enjoy the outdoors, travel, road trips, quiet evening at home, good movies and socializing. I’m comfortable in jeans or a suit but prefer jeans as I get older. I enjoy boating and spend part of the summer in the San Juan Islands in Washington State. I’ve been an aircraft pilot since I was 17 and still fly.
If you have seen my photos you’ll know I have a prosthetic leg, do to a vehicle accident 15 years ago. It hasn’t changed my attitude about life or who I am. I never have looked at it as a disability. It has limited a couple of things, I don’t dance as well as I once did, don’t jog on the streets anymore- use a treadmill, and I walk a bit slower, but that could just be age.
I’m hoping for someone to share adventures with, share interests, and maybe all life has to offer. I value trust, honesty, sincerity, sense of humor and willingness to resolve issues. Thanks for wading through all this and hope to hear from you.
