I am a 59-year-old liberal educator who is passionate about her work, but who is willing to make time for levity, jazz, wine tasting, snorkling, scuba diving, those moonlit walks on the beach, and cavorting with my dog. I lived in Heidelberg for a year, hence the spoken German.

Depending on my mood and how much time I have, I really enjoy wine tasting in the wine country - preferably farther afield than Napa. Sitting on the patio at Gloria Ferrar and sipping sparkling wine in the afternoon sunshine is one of my favorite activities. Traveling, sightseeing up and down the coast or in other states, and visiting museums are all on my list of things to do with friends and companions. For a night out, I like to go to Yoshi's and Anna's Jazz Club, or seek out delicious food to have with good conversation. For real adventure, I like water sports: snorkeling, scuba diving, and white water rafting.
