I'm friendly and outgoing, a little unconventional, an eternal optimist and a bit of a philosopher too. Probably talk a bit too much but I'm also a very good listener. I love meeting and getting to know people and I have a great sense of humour.
My interests are many and varied but I enjoy my computer, the theatre, eating out and photography. I have a beautiful Weimaraner dog who loves to walk and who (flatteringly) thinks I'm terrific...this is probably because I feed her!
I love 'creating' things: from pottery to patchwork and painting to poetry.
I live in a 1920's bungalow which I love, it has huge windows, a large garden and even a Summerhouse for my messier hobbies.
But of course. I do get lonely and it would be great to have someone in my life who would care and share. Someone whose friendship I would value but who still remained 'his own person'.

Mon idée du fun

There are so many ways of having fun and what sort of fun you enjoy at any given time will depend on your mood and how life has been treating you. I love spending time with friends, chatting and laughing together and enjoying their company. Walking on the coast or in the countryside is great and exploring new places is good too. I love to travel and explore but equally, I can have fun at home and whilst pursuing a favourite hobby like writing or painting.

Someone with integrity who is reasonably fluent in speech and writing. I look for someone who is caring and considerate, outgoing and friendly. Someone with a good circle of friends and enough interests to keep them interesting.
Looks aren't that important but a nice smile is high on my wish list and I don't do 'scruffy'.
