I moved back to Canada/Toronto a few years ago after living in Manhattan for 16yrs. After such an absence my social circle was reduced to a few wonderful close friends and family. I have found the transition somewhat difficult but also have grown to appreciate the city more. I am somewhat sceptical about on-line dating, yet hopeful and after coming to appreciate its quirks and eccentricities thus I have decided to expand my search, joining a few sites, while planning to take a more active role. Whatever the faults web searching I hope this site might at least provide an outlet for healthy exchanges of e-mail and friendships if nothing else.

My interests are broad and varied. Having lived in Manhattan for so long I am obviously an urbanite but I also greatly appreciate rural and natural settings.
