I'm a retired art teacher, writer and "ex-army brat" who has traveled extensively. Guyana, South America was my lastest country visit. I enjoy life itself. I'm not perfect but all 5'1" of me is honest and sincere. Don't get me wrong...I look good too! I love outdoor activities especially long walks, a warm sea that's edged by loads of sand, and eating in a quiet restaurant with wonderful music playing in the background. I also love old black and white Frankenstein, Bella Lugosi and Charlie Chan movies. I have an extensive DVD collection. I'd like to meet a gentleman who knows what "letting the heart count" means. I'm a good listener and great conversationalist but know when silence is golden.

Honesty is the only ingredient that seems to be missing. This world is quite complexed so meaning and doing the right thing is so very important. The "right thing" is very basic but can be profound to some. Don't "go with the flow" as is said because many agree but few have the nerve to disagree. Many are called but few are chosen. Somebody real special said that a long, long time ago but it is so true today.
