I have recently retired and am in the process of adjusting to not fighting the morning rush downtown for a parking space. During my life time I have had the honor of serving our nation in both the Navy and Army. Civil, Federal, and corporate careers in high technology completed my working life. While I maybe retired I'm not tired of life and each day is a new beginning. It would be nice to share a few of those moments with someone I'm interested in and care about.

My longtime hobby is playing mandolin and ukulele and my new hobby is working on a new Suzuki Burgman touring scooter. I plan on making a number of long distance trips next year and am looking for a fair lass to ride with me, or maybe just on weekends to start. Camping, sight seeing, and visiting music festivals are on my agenda.

I could list a lot of wants and expectations, but that would just box each of us in. Let's just say that a kind heart and a ready smile are the best beginnings. Also, I would like a gal who enjoys sitting around a campfire and burning wood.

I'm looking for a lady with adventure in her soul and a twinkle in her eyes. Someone to sit around the campfire and chase the bears away when I'm roasting marshmallows. A lady who greets me in the morning with a cup of coffee (decaf) and the car keys so we can get an early start. But most of all a lady wit, humor, intelligence and kindness who sees the value in our relationship.
