Jeg beskriver mig selv som

I?m 65 this year but I?m told I look younger. I have led a varied and some think eccentric life some of which was spent in the 70s in Africa in the 80s in London and latterly 20 years in Shropshire. At 16 as a beatnik, I started my career as a student at Shrewsbury art school. At 58 I retired, put my life in order and dreamt of a retirement pad with the sea view for me to paint. I have worked as a secretary, a recruitment officer, personnel officer which led me to training and eventually, from a Shrewsbury base, to freelance nationally for 20 years in IT.
I like cooking, eating and eating out. I prefer a touch of calming music to loud. I like to go to places where we can talk without competing with other groups? conversations. When I lived in London I went to ballet, opera and theatre on a regular basis. I do like to manage new ideas and always look forward always to new experiences. All my life I?ve worked with people and find them interesting.

So far this year my favourite place has been Rome which I did in style when I stayed for 3 days at a luxury spa with a friend. Second fav place this year was a visit to a health farm with another friend. I?m now planning a visit to Toulouse in south France to stay with friends. Many of my friends date back to my far flung days in Africa

My picture of fun is anything that sets me laughing! I like talking to amusing, clever people, walking in by the seaside. I like opera, museums, exhibitions and watching men's tennis. I like also as sitting home reading, watching films, having a good dinner and meeting friends. I love to play scrabble
