I am an independent spirit with interests in travel, creative cooking, entertaining family and friends, reading (with a special interest in history) and the movies. I take care of myself physically by eating healthy foods and exercise. While I do exercise for exercise sake I also keep active by walking the various nature trails in our area. I have an interest in natural healing and alternative medicine and educate myself on both of these topics. I also have strong spiritual beliefs and feel that we are all energetically connected. As far as travel goes I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel as far away as Egypt, Israel, Thailand, and Croatia. As much as I enjoy experiencing new cultures I also enjoy simple day trips and local adventures. I enjoy the local farmer's market, concerts in the park, educational tours and attractions. I am close to my family and especially enjoy my four grandchildren and their activities who keep me young at heart. While I am a positive and nurturing person, I also have healthy boundries and know what, and who, are good for me and fits well with my life. I am looking forward to a future with a compatible mate who is passionate about life, is sensitive to the ideas and feelings of those around him, and is willing to both share my interests and his own.
