Growing up on the Chesapeake Bay in VA, I am a true water girl and enjoy being by, in or on the water. I am a multi-faceted person who enjoys watching sports and movies, listening to most all music (especially blues), and playing card and board games. I read a book a week. Put me in a library, and I may never come out! I am semi-retired, have never stolen from my grandmother, and I don't trip small children - strong sense of humor. I am a Christian, and although I do not attend church every Sunday, I have a strong belief in God and would want to be in a relationship with someone who believes in a higher power. I am very affectionate and a big hugger! I spend a lot of quality time with family and friends. I love to entertain at home and enjoy traveling. I am creative and enjoy decorating my home and yard. I'd rather be outside than inside but I do watch TV, especially nature shows on National Geographic and Animal Planet and crime shows. If you smoke...or are trying to quit, or drinking a bottle of Crown in one night, those are dealbreakers. I plan on entering my "Golden Years" making new and happy memories. I don't argue and am not combative. I like honest and gentle communication. In the words of a song by Louis Armstrong, "What a Wonderful World...Yeah..!!"

I do not expect "perfection" in a gentleman as none of us are perfect. I like an intelligent man who knows how to laugh and can talk about a variety of topics; someone with high moral values. It would be incredible to find someone who "gets" me as I can be a deep thinker. I also believe in chemistry which cannot be forced. It just exists.
