I feel that you have to establish a friendship first. Really get to know the other person. Transparency is key No secrets. If the relationship is going to go any where we have to know each other. I am just a normal guy, nothing special but when I commit I am all in. I don’t go halfway. If you are the one you will be my number one and I expect the same. I want a partner in crime . I love to have a good time . Laughter is very important in a marriage. If you can’t laugh at yourself or with others it probably won’t work . Life is to short especially when you get our age not to have a good time live life to the fullest and enjoy every day.
Another thing that is a nonnegotiable is that you have to have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Life is tough enough and to try to build a marriage without Christ at the center will not work.
