Details about my life. Married for 57 1/2 years, wife died 05,07, 2015, 6 children, 3 died, 1 premature & died in hospital, 1 died of crib death after 2 month, daughter died 4 months after my wife in Indiana. all told 5 boys & 1 girl, My daughter * 3 sons are all college graduates and had or have management positions, I was caregiver for the last 9 years of my wife's life' Throughout my career I held positions of Division President and Vice President of 2 national Company's and started my career as director of operations at a large independent credit bureau in Ohio the state where I was born & raised. During my tenure as Companyh president, prior to that I was voted manager of the year in 1979 in the 48 contiguous states. I achieved that same honor in 1988 as vice president of that other company. I was a director of an International trade association, was a member of the Speakers bureau in Minneapolis where I now live and in Indiana and delivered speeches in many parts of the country. I served on the City of Evansville, IN Human Relations Commission & later a member of the Human Rights Commission in Indiana and was chairman for 1 year of The United Way Campaign of Southwestern IN and served as president of 1 civic club & 1 religious service organization both in IN. When serving as vice president of that 2nd national company, I was appointed lobbyist for 4 states and after retirement was Church Business Administrator at 2 Catholic churches in the Twin Cities. I and most of my friends describe me as religious and as far back as I can remember never missed church services and lived a life of volunteerism.. I walk 2 hours each day, 45 minutes in the morning and evening and 30 minutes at about noon. I have never had the 1st cigarette in my mouth and only drank when I hosted events for clients,giving a speech and quit even doing that in June 1988, instead had only quinine water with a twist of lemon or lime giving the impression I was like everyone else since they were usually clients and I paid the bills, The 3 things I am most proud of was having a beautiful love at 1st site wife for 57 1/2 years who when people would ask me, how did you ever get something like that? My reply was always her father was a very bad card player. My sisters told me today she would be called a trophy wife. The 2nd thing I am most proud of is the number achievement's GOD granted me despite not completing college.The 3rd I am pleased to have what people describe as possessing a dead pan humor having difficulty determining whether I was serious or just joking.
