Wow. Such a short space to write, and I'm usually no good at it, either! Well, I am an empty nester, kids all grown and married. One in Ohio and the other in Washington state. Yeah, we won't have to worry about them dropping by unannounced! I've served in the military, and the disciplined lifestyle stuck a bit. But, I am a Libertarian by politics. I like Freedom. I just do more than talk about having it. For those who are curious about what "that certain point" refers to, maybe you should ask when we meet. I enjoy seeing people's faces when they react. It allows me to see who you are on the inside, instead of the defensive front most people put up when meeting someone new. I have hobbies, too. You may not like them all, but I won't force you to do anything you don't like to do. But, that said, things are always more enjoyable when shared with a friend. I like the beach. I like to travel, both here in the US and abroad now that the military isn't making my travel plans. Anyone up for a cruise in the Caribbean sometime this year or next? Or, maybe it'll be a long flight, first to Washington to see the kids, grandkids, and, oh, yes, my GREAT-granddaughter! In my family, I am rich. Are you? I have included more than 1 picture, just to show you what triggered my decision to look better than I did. When someone said I looked like I was 70-something, I cried "OUCH"! And I did something about it and am still doing something about it. Now, in the picture you will notice me wearing ear studs. Don't worry. It was on my bucket list as my Grandmother and Mother always wanted me to do it. I did in their honor. So, I am NOT gay. There are some interesting things I inherited from my biological mother that we can make jokes about as we talk. Just remember to ask. Telling more than this won't leave much interesting topics, so, I hope I have caused you enough interest to contact me.

"Meeting for coffee" is getting worn out. Noisy places are out, as well. We should be able to talk softly together without leaning in to hear one another. Maybe a brunch at a small cafe near the beach? We'll decide, together.

This is a dangerous question. I used to say "Skydiving" but Uncle Sam(aka US Army) took care of that. Scuba, anyone? It's time to work on that irrational fear of being underwater (I never learned to swim, either).
