I am very fortunate and have a wonderful life ~ a terrific family and friends, the job of my dreams, and three adorable dogs! The only thing missing is that special guy! I am searching for my best friend, soulmate, and lover!
I have worked in education for 31 years (not sure where the time goes!) with the last 19 year in Ed Leadership. I love working with children and the adults who teach them every day.
I love animals ~ especially dogs! I enjoy hiking and taking long walks with my three, trying not to get their leashes tangled. Sometimes easier said than done!!
I love being outdoors, especially in the warmer weather. An ideal summer day for me would include 3-4 hours out in a kayak, a long walk on the beach, followed by a nice dinner outdoors (shrimp and swordfish are favorites!) complete with a glass of wine or a margarita. My favorite local spots on a summer day include Newbuyport, Rye, and the southern coast of Maine.
Exercise helps me maintain balance in my life. Year round, I do spin classes a couple of nights a week and on weekends. I also do yoga, which I am starting to love. It doesn't give me the "runner's high" though that I get from spin!
I love to travel!! Some of my favorite destinations include St. Maarten, Bermuda, and Anna Maria Island. Can you tell I am a warm weather fan?? I love cruises as well. I travel some for my job and have explored some cities (San Antonio, Seattle, etc.) that I might not have otherwise visited. On business, I typically travel to the DC area about four times per year. There are still SO many places I'd love to see. Among them ... Europe (specifically France, Greece, Ireland, and Italy), Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, Bali, Martinique...I could go on and on!!
What else can I tell you?? I am 5'7" with llight brown hair and blue eyes. I enjoy watching sports and following the Boston Sports teams, especially the Patriots and Red Sox. I enjoy listening to music and watching musical theatre, and going to comedy shows.
Those who know me well would describe me as loyal, caring and compassionate, hard-working, warm, and upbeat ~ I always have a smile on my face!
Those who don't know me as well would likely describe me as outgoing/extroverted. Although I have to do a lot of public speaking and interacting with others for work, I'm actually fairly shy! It takes a little while to get to know me.
What is important to me in a partner? a sense of responsibility, honesty, commitment/respect for family and friends, a love of the outdoors, a love of (or at least a "like") animals. I believe that is important that we share some interests, but also have some of our own. Education is important to me. Also, I would love to meet someone who is a bit more outgoing than I am.
I'd love to hear from you if you think we might have some common interests and values. I have a huge heart and would love to share my life with that special someone!!

An ideal first date would take place somewhere near the water. Perhaps we would begin by taking a long walk on the beach, talking and getting to know each other. Then, if it seemed like we were clicking, a quiet dinner somewhere outdoors where we could continue to get to know each other over good food and wine. After that, who knows?

I have always wanted to try parasailing! Last summer, In the Caribbean, I went out with a group on a parasail tour. Although the winds were strong and the sea was rough, the boat still took us out. They kept checking the wind speed and finally determined it was not safe to let us go up, and we returned to shore. So, I came close to parasailing... I can't wait to try it. It will be even more exhilarating with a special guy by my side!

I love to be outdoors!! I enjoy being by the water, heading out in a kayak with a friend or group for a few hours, and exploring the shops and restaurants along the New England Coastline,
Traveling, watching sports events, attending a comedy show, are all really fun for me. Honestly, with the right person, just about anything is fun!

I look for someone who treats others with kindness and respect, has self-confidence but not an ego! I look for someone who enjoys and has the means to travel, who enjoys the outdoors and outdoor activities, and values health/fitness.
I look for someone who is flexible and has a range of interests....someone who is comfortable getting dressed up to go out sometimes, and other times is content to hang out in jeans in front of the fire with a glass of wine.
