I'm a retired professional. I have seen and experienced far more than most men in this life good and bad. I value every moment and every day feels like a gift to me. There is so much in this world to see and appreciate, and I approach life from a Christian perspective. I value honesty and open communication, and I don't like secrets. I can be challenged and engaged without drama around differences. What I want most of all is someone I can't wait to get back to...that makes me ache a little when we are apart. I want the connection I have never been able to find...and to be honest that is mostly my fault. I don't care much for bars. I love, love, love to slow dance, or dinner theatre, outdoor music, running the river, hiking trails, swimming, lifting weights every day, spending time with family and friends, bbg's...you get the picture. I totally love animals dogs and cats in particular. I tend to get very calm in a crisis, avoid trouble, but won't hesitate to stand my ground if push comes to shove. I am not the jealous type and don't appreciate it when i see it in others. That being said the most important thing to me is being friends first...because friendship builds mutual respect and trust, and no romantic relationship survives without those things.
