For the purposes of disclosure I'll get this out of the way right now. I've been married and divorced 4 times, but I've been single for the better part of the past 26 yrs. I raised a son on my own who has been out on his own for the last 5 yrs. Recently I graduated from a local community college with an associates degree in liberal arts and now I am on a serious job search. I am a christian seeking a christian. I don't go out to bars, gave that up years ago and I live in a tiny town with nothing to do for entertainment but watch the grass grow. Conversation would be a real event. I like to go to fleamarkets, Canton is fun, but haven't done that in years. I enjoy fishing and movies and old fashioned board games (don't care much for video games). Honestly, I've spent the last 15 years avoiding relationships afraid of getting burned again but it's starting to get kind of lonely and truthfully I don't know what folks do on dates anymore. My favorite past-times are reading and writing. I like to paint when I have the time and supplies and if I had my own patch of ground I'd probably garden. I love music and taking in the beauty of God's handiwork. It would just be nice to share that with someone special. No grumps or manipulators need respond.
