I Would Describe Myself As

Looking for that last someone to ride the highway of life with. How do you describe yourself in a few words, knowing someone is reviewing your bio...soft-hearted, intelligent but occasionally extraordinarily stupid, quick of wit, uses humor as a defense, more shy than you would think. Excite my mind and I am yours. An independent person with a myriad of interests. I do quite well on my own, but it would be nice to find that one special person to share what remaining years God has given us. Sadly, due to two accidents, a hip replacement and arthritis, I am not as active as I once was (and so sadly miss doing so many things) and still trying to lose the weight that that brought on. I do not expect physical perfection, life has taught me that what is inside is what remains true and lasts. Physical attraction is very important in a relationship, but does not by itself make a long lasting relationship. But when two people meet and are instantly attracted to each other, then in time you find out you are truly compatible to the point you feel you have been cloned. I believe we all need our own space at times and being with our friends and doing things separately on occasion is mandatory and healthy for a relationship. Brought up with respect and morals in an Italian family...family is very important to me. I am looking for somone who embraces eacy day of life as a new opportunity for growth, one who is monogamous, can be passionate and willing to develop a relationship over time. A quick roll in the hay is of no interest to me. Nor are any game playing of any emotional kind. If something is bothering me, I will approach you with a calm manner; not call you names that I cannot take back and I will explain my feelings and not be on the offensive.I desire the same in return. Above all things, honesty is utmost important to me (I will never ask a question that I cannot handle the answer to) ...and communication. I would like someone who is emotionally available, great sense of humor, not afraid of spontanaity, possess integrity, assertive and giving. You appreciate the beauty of things that are non-materialistic. You would like a committed relationship, but will not settle and be in one just to have someone in your life. I enjoy movies, both out and at home; dining out and sometimes just getting in the car...and turning left.I am a bit of a sun worshiper and can be found at the pool most days. (well, not between Mid Nov and Mid Feb.) LOL. In true disclosure, due to the heartbreak and past poor judgements in character, I have learned to be a bit more cautious - not so immediately trusting and definitely more selective and never willing to just settle. I would hope you would be at the same stage of life that I am right now and in search of a best friend, confidant and partner in life who will go the extra mile to make a relationship work. I want us to be able to trust one another without fear, thus trusted without doubt...with all of this we would both experience the condition of unconditional love. I have had many dreams in my life and still have a few.I am looking for a partner to share those dreams and build memories with. Make no mistake...I am tired of the "dating" scene and I want to be in love and in a long term relationsip.I want the type of relationship that you can start a sentence and they finish it. Or you might be thinking of something as simple as having a taste for an ice cream and they say lets get an ice cream... Wow, And that excitement you feel just talking on the phone and the desire burns within you to be near them, smell them, touch them. taste them, that you can barely contain yourself. Enjoy to the utmost kissing...that is a must. As Scarlet said..."I need to be kissed long, hard and often".
