I'm a retired computer tech and long haul trucker, with 2 rescue K9's. I enjoy almost all genre's of music (but not RAP, Hip Hop, Blue Grass, or Opera ((love the music not the vocals)). I've been told I have an "old soul" all my life, and am a pisces (tho I rarely even look at a horoscope and then only as entertainment not a "guide"). I'm not into pro sports but do support the home teams and will watch them if they make it to the playoffs. I enjoy the friendship of women more than the rambunctious camaraderie of men. I read a lot on just about every topic there is, mostly science and tech oriented but also history and nature, not really into non-fiction (except Science Fiction). I don't watch "TV" very much, but do watch internet video's. I keep informed of current events and am not a political "activist" but will give my opinions and carefully listen to reasoned opinions of others that may help me make good choices, I'm middle of the road and seek the best candidate for the job, I'm not a "party" player. I like to share cooking and grilling, but am not into BBQ. I enjoy sit down casual dining, not fast food (except pizza). I'm just learning to slow dance (foolish me for taking so long) so I still have two left feet and look goofy trying. I try to keep a positive outlook on life and will laugh at my own mistakes, but not ridicule others when they make a "boo-boo". I will be a lifelong friend to those who want it, but will put haters and "backstabbers" out of my life as there are far too many good people I have yet to meet to be wasting time on those who have done me wrong. I try to be fair to all and will form my opinions of someone on how they interact with me, rather than what other people may say about them.Overall I'm a nice guy and try to put a smile on folks faces. My close friends are few and very discerning as am I.
